Jacobina Trump
Jacobina, who holds a B.A. from the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in the Hague, The Netherlands, is known for her ongoing series of oil paintings, interior wall finishes, murals, Trompe l'oeil and colour advice. Trump is also credited with developing a comprehensive art program for a local school on the island of Canouan. Since 1988, she has been teaching every winter at the Manasota Beach Club and has students from all over the nation.

Heather J. Fortner
Heather is passionate about fish and Gyotaku. She has been heavily involved in the marine and seagoing world, earning a degree in Natural Sciences from the University of Hawaii. She has been printing fish ever since she saw her first Gyotaku print in 1976 and works out of her studio in Sarasota, FL. She has also studied with several Gyotaku masters throughout the U.S. and Canada.

Lemon Bay Golf Club
The beautiful Lemon Bay Golf Club lies Six miles north of the Gasparilla Island bridge and faces the Gulf of Mexico. The course is situated between mature native pines, small lakes and ponds, flocks of exotic tropical birds and the white capped American eagles that are known as the nesting aristocrats of Lemon Bay. The course is open to limited reciprocal play from May through August.

Patty de Llosa
Patty offers instruction in the Gurdjieff work, T’ai Chi, Taoist meditation and teaches the Alexander Technique privately and in group classes. She has many published articles to her name as well as a book entitled The Practice of Presence which highlights the five great spiritual paths that she studies and teaches. Patty teaches classes at Manasota Beach Club during January each year.

Kevin Hunt
Manasota Beach Club’s seasonal tennis professional directs the tennis activities for the youth, members and guests.  Kevin has been a certified pro since 1975 and has held numerous state and regional rankings.  Kevin and his assistant provide weekly group clinics for adults and juniors as well as private instruction.   Club members and guests enjoy weekly round robins as well as croquet socials under Kevin’s guidance. Racquet stringing and racquet repair as well as pro shop supplies are also available.  

Jane Shanley
Manasota Beach Club’s own visiting winter croquet instructor with her husband, Phil.  They own and operate the Pond View Racquet Club in Westerly Rhode Island and take time to lead our Croquet Intensives in the winter and spring.  Jane is available for group or individual croquet instruction.  Jane has played in sanctioned tournaments in Florida and New England.  She has organized and helped host a national croquet tournament in RI and instructs on grass courts in Weekapaug and at Pond View in the summer.
