Seagrapes will be the star of the paintings! After a short walk around the Manasota Beach Club to observe the seagrapes, a direct lesson in sketching will take place. Learn about the shapes of the leaves, how to draw different curving of leaves, and overlapping. Observing the lightest color or the leaves, a background color will emerge. The following applications of colors will range from lightest to darkest, as the leaves show their “colors” and the background deepens in value and color, helping the beauty of the plant come forward in the composition.
